second day of strm cells

Had a long night, Russ's blood presure droped real low, so no one got any sleep except Russ. He sleep all night. This morning we went for a walk and Russ did his breathing exercises, had breakfast. All the Dr. come to see him ,then lunch and stem cells at 3:00. All went well and after it was over he said he felt really good. They have some real funkie food but if he doesn't keep eating they will have to put in a feeding tube. So far the only thing he has trouble with is bing sick to his stomack.Today he has keep everything down so far. He get the hickups Dr. said that happens alot with chemo patients. I don't get alot of sleep up here it's to noisy, doors slaming, buzzers going off, nurses coming in at all hours of the night I don't know how any one can get any sleep it's crazy. But they are taking great care of Russ and they are very good ant what they do I thankful for that. I'am also thankful for all of you and your comments and prayers, we are truley blessed with such good friends and family. Keep the comments coming we really enjoy hearing from you. Love Carol

Just saying hello again. I'm sure there will be lot's of ups and downs to come for you. Hopefully though, less downs, and more ups as time goes. I can understand the lack of sleep at the hospital. At Primary's we were in a shared room, so double the nurses and ins and outs -- not to mention the comfy fold out bed. But, it's a blessing to be able to get help when we need it. We wish you all the best, and hope things continue to look up!

Russ and Carol, It is great to hear that today went good. Russ keep eating, a tube up the nose is not the way to go. We were going back to the cabin today but Alayna had a bad day so we will wait and see what happens tomorrow. It seems that somedays just go that way as you well know. I will give you call in a day or so, this blogging just is not for me I like voices.

This is a great idea of keeping everyone informed. MaKell and myself went back to Dr. Winters office today and they were all asking about you. I told them about this blog spot so I hope that is ok. They are all thinking of you and so are we. We will keep you in our prayers!

Hi Carol and Russ,
Maren just told us about this blog today while cleaning her teeth. Sandy and I are trying it out - neither one of us knows what the heck to do here but just know we love you and are praying for you. This is a great way to hear about your daily progress.
Praying for you, Sandy and Camille

It is so good to hear how things are going up there. Keep on eating Russ, feeding tubes can't be any fun. It's no fun having hiccups when someone can't scare them out of you. We check this blog site daily and also are keeping you in our prayers.
Love you guys,
Tom and Bess

The catch is about the same but the work isn't as fun. well keep eating that yummy food and keep a good attitude.
Love ya Bro. Randal

Hi, Jim Sorensen forwarded Carol's email to me. (my email is jim@michelsmachinery.com) I'm glad to here that Russ is doing so well. I'm sure as "tuff" as he is, he is going to do just fine. If there is anything that we can do to be of any help, please don't hesitate to call. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
