July 24, 2008

Well today is day + 10 Today started out great the Dr. told us that Russ was starting to build white blood cells he is to 200 so we were excited, and then the nurse said she was told his heaart had gone back into it's normal rythmn, but then she said she didn't think so and the heart Dr, never came today so we are still hoping for the best tomorrow. Later in the day Russ felt real warm to me and when the cna took his temp it was 99 then ahour later it was 100, the nurse took blood to have it tested for infection. She told us it could be because his white blood cells are starting to come back or that he has a infection so we have to wait, but they started him on meds. just in case. It's so good to hear from all of you thanks for all you do,your prayers and putting Russ's name in the temple I know thats why things are going so well up here. Love Russ and Carol

Well it sounds like today was a mostly an up day. The fever is a concern but it sounds like they are on top of it, hopefully it is just the white cells doing there thing. We pulled Peggys trailer out and put water in it or should I say tried. The people we bought it from drained the hot water tank too late, not good! So I will be replacing it. Oh well its only money right. There are worse things in life. I hope tomorrow finds you on another up day, with more white cells to count.
we are praying for you to get the best treatment you can.

Hi guys, I am so glad that things are still looking good. I hope that this isn't an infection. But if it is I know Russ can fight it. The kids and I went to the parade this morning and then they won fish at the park.(uhhhh) But it was their money, so I didn't say much. Wade and Ruston finished the room this afternoon. Ruston mopped it twice with bleach but we will need to sanitize the whole room again, after the carpet is put back in. But that will be easy to do. Well, I need to go turn off the water in your garden. Keep your chin up, you'll be home before you know it.
Love, Cammie
