Today is day +12, Russ is still not feeling well very weak, his temp. is still high, and went up again this afternoon so more test were taken to make sure he doesn't have an infection, so far he hasn't. So we are hopeful it is his body starting to produce white blood cells and everything else he needs to get better and come home. He was ready to come home a week ago. Not a lot to report good news is his heart is doing good and not giving him any trouble today, the Dr. are feeling good about his progress so far he keeps telling everyone to speed up the clock. Time does go real slow up here in this little room. There is a branch here for the patients and staff to go to church and they come to visit durning the week, there real kind people and so willing to help and so glad to see you at church every Sunday.They come to your room if you can't come to them.

Even with his temp. going up but with no infection and as poorly as he feels it is still a positive thing that he is in as good of shape as he is. We are going the a terrible thing to night, a 40 year class reunion, Carol I think it is probably about time for yours. There will be alot of people asking about Russell so its good to get this message before we go. Russ next year is your 40 year reunion and they want you there so keep up the good work. Just think you are about half way through the 1st phase. you are always in our prayers. I will call you tomorrow.

It sounds like even though your not doing any jumping jacks your probably faring as well as expected, I hope things turn for the better even a little each day. I went with tyson and his family for a horse ride around goat camp today, Tony had gone to the car show Jaden was alone but seemed ok with it, not a job for most kids but different strokes for different folks they say.Rest well Randal

Leikin and I went to the Movie last night.....you didn't miss anything wonderful. It was kind'a cheesy, funny in some parts but mostly weird I thought. Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnon breaking into Abba tunes by the ocean was just at little bizarre, plus I had this "older" Lady that smelled like Wanda Fike sitting next to me and she was singing all the songs! It about drove me nuts,if she wasn't singing the songs she was making comments about the movie and how she thought it was going to end.I was just waiting for her to jump up and start singing "Dancing Queen" as she did her interpretation of a jazz dance down the isle.She would have been more entertaining than the movie if Peirce Brosnon wasn't so good looking.
It was also freak'in hot walking around Gateway or I should say dragged from one end to the other by Leikin trying to find the perfect secret sister gifts,I thought I was going to melt.
We'll have to try again but NOT Mamma'Mia. We'll be at Rob's Dad's house for dinner tomorrow night but make your self at home if you need to use the W&D. Try the Coconut cake in the fridge, it's really good!
